Traffic Impact Study for the Cookies Retail Project (City of Santa Rosa)

A traffic impact study was prepared for the proposed opening of a “Cookies” cannabis retail outlet on Santa Rosa Avenue across from a major shopping center.  Trip generation rates developed by W-Trans through data collection at numerous existing cannabis dispensaries in the North Bay were applied together with estimates for pass-by capture given the high volume on Santa Rosa Avenue.  Potential safety implications associated with the driveway being across from one serving a Costco store were also evaluated, including an in-depth review of collisions that occurred on Santa Rosa Avenue over a 10-year period.
