18 Jul Smart Signals Project Management (Town of Los Gatos)
The Town is in the process of acquiring a new Advance Traffic Management System with adaptive capability, and hired W-Trans to provide staff services through the acquisition and set-up. W-Trans worked closely with the System Engineering consultant, Iteris, to prepare the System Vendor Request for Proposals. The project includes replacement of the Town’s Aries traffic control system and traffic signal controllers at all 31 Town-owned intersections, establishment of an Ethernet communications network, and connection of all intersections near Town fiber optic lines directly to fiber optic communications. W-Trans is responsible for preparing all vendor and consultant contract documents, selection, and oversight of the work.
