18 Jul El Camino Real Crosswalk Improvements Project (City of Menlo Park)
The City of Menlo Park received a TDA Article 3 grant to enhance pedestrian safety at three intersections along SR 82 (El Camino Real) in downtown Menlo Park. As part of an on-call task, W-Trans, with CSG as a civil subconsultant, is preparing PS&E for installing an additional crosswalk, signal hardware upgrades, ADA ramp upgrades, and signing and striping improvements at the intersections of El Camino Real with Encinal Avenue, Ravenswood Avenue, and Roble Avenue. W-Trans prepared geometric alignment design alternatives for preliminary layouts at each intersection before proceeding into detailed design. W-Trans is coordinating with Caltrans District 4 staff and preparing the Caltrans District 4 Encroachment Permit application for permit approval.
