Coleman and Ringwood Avenues Transportation Study (County of San Mateo)

The County of San Mateo and City of Menlo Park are in the process of conducting an extensive transportation study to determine preferred corridor-level conceptual designs for Coleman and Ringwood Avenues in an effort to improve transportation safety and mobility for all roadway users. The project includes a robust community engagement process, gathering and analyzing data, development of evaluation criteria, and the determination of multiple design alternatives for each corridor that will ultimately be evaluated and refined into a preferred alternative. The project includes oversight from a Technical Advisory Committee as well as engagement with community stakeholders through a Community Advisory Committee and through direct community engagement. W-Trans is currently in the beginning stages of developing the evaluation criteria and design alternatives. The preferred conceptual design options are anticipated to be presented to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors and Menlo Park City Council in Summer 2023.
