Valerie Haines

Valerie Haines is an Assistant Engineer providing support on traffic engineering and transportation planning services.

Valerie Haines graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2022 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a minor in Data Science. While at Berkeley she was heavily involved in both the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Transportation Competition Team and worked as a research assistant at the UC Berkeley Transportation Sustainability Research Center for a semester. During her senior year, she interned for W-Trans, performing work including Transportation Impact Studies, signal warrant analyses, and crash analyses. She is very excited to continue her work and return as an Assistant Engineer. Valerie is passionate about improving road efficiency and safety and typically gets around by bike and public transit.
