17 Jul 11th Street Corridor Study (Lake Area Planning Council)
Leading a team that included the Local Government Commission, W-Trans developed a complete street plan for an arterial corridor and primary gateway to the City of Lakeport. Through a collaborative process with agency stakeholders and an in-depth outreach effort to residents and businesses, the W-Trans team generated solutions to enhance access and safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists. W-Trans prepared 30 percent design drawings, with project elements that included new sidewalks, buffered bike lanes, enhanced intersection crossings, a multi-use path connection, and bike boulevard, as well as a mini-roundabout at a high collision intersection.
