Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit - SMART Station Design
W-Trans provided transportation engineering services to the Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) station design team. The services consisted of evaluating vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian access to the station sites and considering traffic operation, safety, parking, and adjacent land use issues. Draft station area plans developed through this process were refined to be as "self mitigating" as possible from a circulation perspective.
